Training for Improved Tuberculosis Control

The Regional Centre is committed to a TB free world and contributes to this vision by developing courses that address current issues in tuberculosis control and builds skills to improve strategy implementation and program management.

 Sponsorship:
Participants to our courses are often supported by national governments, WHO, UNICEF, USAID and other international donors. A limited number of sponsorships are usually made available through RCQHC.

Participants
RCQHC courses target country teams at the level of program implementation, managers and policy makers.

Training Approach and Methodology

Our courses are highly participatory and interactive in nature, emphasizing practical application. They courses utilize: illustrated lectures; plenary discussions; field work and site visits; small group work and feedback; individual exercises; case studies; role plays; panel discussions; and computer assisted learning.

Certification

Upon Successful completion of each course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance from the Regional Centre for Quality of Health Care (RCQHC).

How to apply:
Prospective participants are encouraged to submit their applications not later than three weeks prior to the commencement of the programme. Hard copies of application forms are obtainable from the Regional Centre for Quality of Health Care, (located in New Mulago, Physiology Department Buildings).
